Peugeot 308 R Concept stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Peugeot’s hot new 308 R Concept hatchback has the new mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI square in its sights here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The regular 308 hatch is also making its debut, showing quality Peugeot hope will rival the likes of Volkswagen and Audi, but with the rather racy looking 308 R, the French firm is after the performance crown, too. BMW Alpina B7 – the closest you’ll get to an M7

The BMW Alpina B7 - now available in the US BMW has made it clear that they won’t be making an ‘M’ version of the 7 Series. I know, we’ve hear that all before with the X5, but they seem adamant. In fact, one of our readers questioned our story about ‘No BMW M7‘ a couple of months ago after his local dealer said the M7 was coming in Spring 2010.

The Mercedes C Class Executive SE - available in the UK from November Having already played this card with the E Class – the E-Class Executive SE – Mercedes has decided to treat buyers to a limited edition model of the C Class and has announced that the Mercedes C Class Executive SE will be available in the UK from November, powered by the manual C180 KOMPRESSOR BlueEFFICIENCY engine and available as a saloon or estate. As with all limited editions there’s nothing to get too excited about unless you were already up for the extras the limited edition is throwing in to the pot. In the case of the Executive SE these include COMAND, the grill off the Sport model, 16” ‘Pristix’ alloys and a bit of extra chrome on the boot lid and exhaust.
